Peony season is the prettiest season!

The moment I see peonies at the flower shop or grocery store I buy them. They are feminine, delicate, and simply beautiful. I wanted to live out the life of peonies a little longer, and when I was at Michael’s Arts and Crafts recently I saw the fabric version of my favorite flower. I knew I had to incorporate it into a craft somehow. Since, I love decorating my front patio for every season and holiday, I thought that a pretty Springtime wreath would be a perfect way to enjoy peony season a bit longer. Of course, I have fresh peonies all over my house in vases, but these pretty fabric flower wreaths add a bright pop of color that can be seen from the road.

This is SO simple that you don’t even need a glue! I bought this wreath from Michael’s, it’s called a grapevine wreath. I have been using it for every season by simply placing decorations in the holes of the wreath. The fabric flowers have a long wire stem that I cut with a wire cutter to make the flowers much shorter. The “leaves” of the fabric flower can be pulled off easily. Then, the flowers are placed on the wreath however you desire! It’s really that simple. You can do this with any fabric flowers you like, or any decorations you like. These wreaths are pretty inexpensive and they can be used for each season.
