Halloween Popcorn Cones and Candy Corn Tray
Halloween parties are the best kind of parties! We get to dress up in crazy costumes, eat tons of candy, and everything is Halloween themed!
I love the idea of being able to walk around a party, while still being able to eat, and not worry about spilling food everywhere! That is why I thought these popcorn filled cones would be such a great party trick. No matter what, at any party, some food ends up spilling on the floor, but this is much easier than holding a plate.
With all of the sweets that are being eaten on Halloween, popcorn is a nice break. It is a little lighter, and gives you a salty bite that helps your palate recover from the sugar. As you have seen in some of my crafts, I love candy corn! Not necessarily to eat, but to decorate with. It makes anything and everything cuter! I added it to the bottom of the decoration to fill the box I placed the cones in to make it have more of a finished look.
This craft is super easy, and doesn’t require tons of expensive things to make it. I simply used a shallow box that I had around the house. It is actually part of a “shirt” box from shopping. So, if you don’t have one, go buy yourself a new shirt and ask them to put it in a box, you deserve it! Then, I got some styrofoam, lollipop sticks, and card stock paper. Add a little tape to the mix, and you are good to go.
Tips for Halloween Popcorn Cones and Candy Corn Tray
*Make a good amount of the cones, depending on the size of your party, and as people take them off the tray, replace them with new ones.
*If you don’t want to use popcorn, use something equally as light, but not greasy.
*These can also be made into smaller cones, the size is up to you.
*Buy lots of candy corn! The size of the box is up to you, but it can take a good amount of candy corn to fill the box.
*Place the tray on the serving table, and then place the cones into the lollipop stick. Because the cones can be removed, you don’t want them spinning, and falling off, while trying to carry it from one place to another.

These popcorn and candy filled cones are not only a cute addition to the tablescape, but a practical way for guests to walk around while enjoying a snack, and holding something besides a plate.
Supplies:
A box; this one is simply the top to a clothing box
Styrofoam; cut to fit the inside of the box
Glue
Candy corn; amount will vary depending on the size of the box used
Lollipop sticks
Cardstock paper in desired colors
Tape
Ribbon
Directions:
*Tape, or glue, the ribbon around the outside of the box, and tie a large bow in the front
*Glue the Styrofoam into the box
*Stick the lollipop sticks into the Styrofoam where you want the cones placed
*Roll the pieces of paper into a cone shape, leaving a little hole in the bottom large enough to fit over the lollipop stick
*Place the cones onto the sticks
*Fill the box with as much candy corn as you can until the entire piece of Styrofoam is covered
*Fill the cones with popcorn, candy, etc.
