DIY Tissue Paper Pom Poms
Sometimes the easiest decorations look the most difficult. I love these little tissue paper pom pons! They sell them at Michael’s Arts and Crafts (craft supply store), and on Etsy, but they are beyond easy to make them yourself.
Supplies:
Tissue Paper
Scissors
Ribbon or string
Directions:
*Cut a large sheet of tissue paper in half lengthwise, and repeat with another sheet, until you have 4-5 strips of tissue paper
*Layer the sheets on top of each other
*Fold about a 1 inch vertical section, and then flip over to fold again, so that you are getting an accordion type fold
*Repeat until the entire thing is folded
*Tie a piece of thin ribbon or string in the center; making sure it is tied pretty tight
*Fluff the tissue paper so that it looks like a pom pom; do this carefully so that you do not rip the paper
This are amazing! I’m planning a baby shower in a few weeks and was looking for a cute way to add some fun decor without being too cheesey and these are perfect. Thanks for sharing, I can’t wait to try them! 🙂
