Gold Butterfly Mirror

I found a gold butterfly mirror online that sold for over $800. Ummmm pretty sure I can make that! So, I did! It’s as easy as spray painting some butterflies gold and gluing them into a mirror!! I mean, really that’s it. I just saved you a lot of money! Ha Ha!

MATERIALS:

• Mirror with gold edge
• Faux butterflies in various sizes
• Design master spray paint in gold medal
• Hot glue gun and glue sticks

OPTIONAL:

• Floral foam block
• Masking tape

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. If you are repurposing a mirror that isn’t gold, tape off the glass, then paint the frame gold. Set aside to dry.
2. Spray paint the butterflies gold. Allow to dry. PRO TIP: If they have wires attached, stick them into floral foam blocks for convenient full coverage painting.
3. Arrange the larger butterflies on the mirror then attach with glue.
4. Place the smaller butterflies to cover any remaining frame peeking through. Glue to attach.
5. Hang and enjoy!
