I know what I’m wearing for Valentine’s Day!  I’ll probably wear this throughout the entire month.  I should probably start making some more shirts.  These are so fun you guys!!! Make these!  I have to tell you that I have been using this acrylic craft paint for a million other crafts and never thought about the fact that it would stay on clothes.  I was washing a sheet that I use under my crafts when I am painting and found out that the paint didn’t come off… perfect! So what’s the next thing to do? Paint a shirt of course.  I have seen these shirts on pinterest and in a million stores so I wanted to share with you all how easy it is and how I figured out how to do it.  You can make this for yourself, paint cloths for your kids/babies (the paint is non-toxic), or put a cute gift together for someone.

Painted Heart Tees

Non-Toxic Acrylic Craft Paint (here is the kind I used)

foam paint brush

 full sheet label paper

 magazine

Instructions:

*Lay the shirt onto a flat surface

*Fold the large label sheet in half and draw half of a heart shape; this helps to make sure both sides are even

*Cut the heart out

*Set onto the shirt to see where you would like it placed

*Remove the back of the label sheet and place the sticky heart shape onto the shirt where you had planned

*Take a magazine and place it inside the shirt right under the heart where you plan to paint

*Pour the paint onto a paper plate and use the foam brush to carefully paint inside the heart shape into the shirt

*Allow to dry and apply another coat

*If if still isn’t covering the shirt you can do a third coat

*Allow to dry completely

*Remove the label from the shirt

*Wear it!!
