What makes this recipe so special? It layers your favorite elements of a s’more—melted chocolate, toasted marshmallows, and a graham cracker crunch—right into a creamy espresso-based drink. Think of it as your favorite campfire treat, reimagined as a coffee shop-style creation you can make at home.
S’mores Coffee Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 oz milk
- 2 tablespoons mini marshmallows (or large marshmallows cut into pieces)
- 1 shot of espresso (add a second shot for a stronger flavor)
- 1 tablespoon melted chocolate (leftover chocolate bars work perfectly!)
- Graham cracker crumbs, for garnish
- Toasted marshmallows on a skewer, for garnish
Instructions:
- Add the marshmallows to a large glass or mug.
- Heat the milk until it’s nearly boiling, then pour it over the marshmallows. Use a hand frother to combine and create a foamy, marshmallow-infused milk.
- In a separate mug, stir the hot espresso with the melted chocolate until smooth.
- Pour the frothed marshmallow milk over the espresso mixture.
- Top with a sprinkle of graham cracker crumbs.
- For a fun (and delicious) finishing touch, toast 2–3 marshmallows on a small skewer until golden brown and rest it over the rim of the mug.
Tip:
You can use coconut milk, oat milk, or your favorite dairy-free option if you’d like to make this drink plant-based. And if you don’t have a frother, a good old whisk works in a pinch—just whip the milk until foamy.
Whether you’re sipping this by the fire or just daydreaming about your next camping trip, this S’mores Coffee is a sweet way to bring a little magic to your morning.
